Parent 1:
the worker has helped my child overcome her fears, he built a really good rapport with her even though it could have been difficult due to appointments being over the telephone. My daughter looked forward to speaking to him each week to tell him what she had achieved each week.
Parent 2:
The staff member listened and was very empathetic while guiding me through parent led CBT strategies. The staff member was a great support to both me and my daughter.
Early Help Team:
I found the systemic consultation session really insightful. I came away with a fresh new perspective, new strategies to implement and many new why questions to consider. I have shared the idea of the consultation with my whole team as I can see how beneficial they can be for families with complex needs.
Hedworthlane Primary:
The Healthy Minds Team is an invaluable addition to services for our young people in South Tyneside. We have found the addition of an EMHP in school extremely beneficial in being able to offer direct support to pupils, advice to staff and whole school workshops. It is great to see the mental health and wellbeing of pupils such high priority and mental health support being so widely available.
St James Primary:
The Healthy Minds Team has been an invaluable service during and post-lockdown. The staff have liaised closely with our school on many different levels and are only ever a phone call away. They provide endless opportunities to support and work with families and young people and their kindness and professionalism shine though.
Sea View Primary:
The Healthy Minds Team has been a fantastic resource that we have been able to access. The support that the Healthy Minds Team has been able to offer our children alongside the advice she has been able to give us on some of the issues we’re facing in school has been invaluable.
